THE SUPREMACY: Demo Songs Posted Online

January 3, 2006

Hard rock/heavy metal act THE SUPREMACY, featuring guitarist Bill Hudson (CELLADOR, DAVID READMAN),drummer Mark Cross (FIREWIND, ex-HELLOWEEN, METALIUM) and keyboardist Joost van Den Broek (AFTER FOREVER, AYREON),have posted two demo songs online at their MySpace.com page. Check out the tracks "Stages of Soul" and "Dreaming Awake" at this location.

THE SUPREMACY, whose lineup is completed by bassist Fernando Giovannetti (AQUARIA) and vocalist Rafael Gubert (AKASHIC, BARROS),are writing material for their debut album, tentatively due later in the year.

According to THE SUPREMACY's official bio, "it all began in 2003 when Hudson and Giovannetti were hired to play with Japanese singers Hyronobu Kageyama and Akira Kushida in 2003. During the rehearsals, they began to talk about their favorite bands and musicians and ended up hanging out and jamming a couple of times. Those jams turned into a couple of new songs, and the new songs led them to Bill's homestudio to record it to see how it would sound. They loved it! Next step was to find the right musicians. After talking to many people, Bill met drummer Mark Cross, who had just recovered from a serious disease which took him out of the business for a year. Keyboard rising star Joost Van Den Broek was the next one. A singer was still missing, but after writing many new songs, the band decided to record a two-track demo and keep on searching for a frontman. During the recordings, many singers were auditioned, but they couldn't find the right person to fill the spot. After a couple of months, Rafael Gubert, with his powerful voice and incredible stage presence, was chosen. Due to the multi-cultural lineup (Brazil, USA, UK and Holland),THE SUPREMACY's music has many different influences and could be described as hard rock/heavy metal with its roots in classic rock and roll."
